Handsfree kit with USB interface - is now standard for 328i/335i in US... but it's not clear if this supports the A2DP profile for music.

Music Interface for Smartphones is also in the German document, but is not shown as an option in the US listings I have seen.

BMW Assist (6NL) and Nav/Tech Package (ZTP) are required to get BMW Apps (6NR)
I am pretty sure you can use the iPod USB cable for music without any extra options, but not sure about Bluetooth via A2DP, but I sure hope so since that would enable Android phones as well.
BMW Apps adds special app display from iOS devices, like Web Radio, Facebook, Twitter, iPod, Pandora functions.
