Remove the airbag was annoying as always. Finding that notch to unlatch the airbag fittings is like picking a lock. Took me around 20 minutes to get it off, including removing the 3 screws that hold the wheel cover in place.
Thereafter came the slow and painful activity of sewing. Despite having done it once before, it still took me 4 hours total from beginning to end. Got a fright halfway through when the thread on the cover snapped while tugging, but I managed to sew over it fairly well (wonder if anyone can tell where that happened).
This time, judicious use of tape ensured absolutely no rumps or ridges whatsoever. I don't think I could've done any better.
After months of suede, the all-leather cover feels nice and grippy!

Perfect actually.
Thread must have broke at 7-8 O'clock on the wheel but I'm sure no one will notice.
