I dont have the number on me, but I owned an e46 for 10 years and I believe that car was the lowest cost of ownership. Most years it only needed an oil change. Of course I had a great BMW mechanic do all routine maintenance per the manual so it was looked after well. My previous hondas, acuras, and MB cost me more. Only issue was that by the time I sold it, all the window regulators were gone (known issue with this car)
