As compared to the Es. The car won't tell you when service is needed or at least that is my experience. I had to check when filter and oil is due for a change and bring it in. Yes, one oil and filter change and the next is due from 15000 mls from the previous.
As far as other issues, the "coolant water low" indicator kept going off at some point and after bringing it in multiple times they finally found that there was a small leak from the coolant water container that triggered the alarm when it touched the wires. They replaced it for me and since then I didn't have any problems other than the steering wheel vibration which many people had.
This car is so much fun to drive and I wouldn't get any other car for the commute because this car is so entertaining. The best time is when i get on the highway with a cup of coffee early in the morning and listen to the radio on the way to work.
