I am currently spooling up my preparations for the trip, it's practically a month away...
tomorrow i have the appointment with my local BMW CA/ED specialist to go over the final paperwork: read PO (purchase Order) signed
and for her to get my passport, DL, and insurance cards...
I got my production number back in December already
but i guess the VIN number wont come until the paper work are signs.
Since i chose April 12th, and it has now been confirmed with me of the specific schedule time of delivery, my guess is that the car wont be manufactured/produced until sometimes on the last week of march or first week of April, 10 days before the desired date of delivery.
i wish i could be choosing when to receive the car... I would have prefered taking delivery of it early afternoon, living time in the morning for me to visite the Welt, and tour the factory/production lines...

I am planning to bring two of my DSLRs on hand, one of them with HD video capabilities, car mounting props, and a Go-Pro cam.
I am trying to finalize my route for each day, and to reserve the hotels.
I am also making a list of all the photos spot i must do...
Next week, i will try to gather all of my music/mp3 in one compact USB
and Because i skip the Nav option, I will have a GPS to use once there (Thanks Dad).
I wonder if i shouldnt get a Valentine1 radar detector over there?? (probably not, since i am not planning to push the car too much, It's impossible in France with all the Police check)
What else am i missing?
Until then, i am enjoying and studying very closely and picking ideas from all the ED threads on BimmerPost and the other "BMW Fiesta" website!

I have been wanting to buy my brand new BMW through the ED program since i was in college, if not high school...
All this time waiting patiently!! Hopefully it wont be the last time!

With "SoonerJohnInDallas" and "Entropy" done with their delivery, it would seem that i will be the next one in line, with KY_Soldier on the same day!
