This just cannot be true!
For the limited number of Alpinas that are sold, it is economically not possible to setup your own factory to build these, and be only 25% more expensive than mass produced BMWs (but also deliver 25% more power and goodies).

I mean, I haven't even seen an Alpina in real life in my lifetime, and I live in Belgium, next to Germany...

My guess is they are built by BMW, and then "massaged" at Alpina factory.
