Agreed, really helpful post.
I've never bought a new car before and not really sure how this pre reg thing works in practise. I am aware that dealers pre reg cars to inflate their sales, am I correct in thinking that each individual dealer will have a list of pre reg cars that they have to sell or is it a kind of a national list of all the pre reg cars in the dealer network?
Also if I was to try to put a deal together should I start by asking about pre reg stock? Whilst I would like to spec it myself a pre reg seems like a good way to save some money.
