Well it all depends what your needs are. I used to have a E46 M3 'vert. I had a kid so I sold the M3 and got a M-sport 328xi. They are definitely not the same cars but the F30's do drive nice as a daily driver. Power is good enough for everyday driving and you get good MPG... you wont go wrong with either car, but its all about what your needs are...
