I like that the new coupe will be called a 4er. I love my e92 but always feel the need to say I have a coupe when someone asks what kind of BMW I have. Calling the new ones a 4 series eliminates that, and like Scott said, it signifies the slightly more premium feel.
My question is will price differential between a 3er and 4er be comparable to the price difference between a e90 and e92...i.e. a couple grand? If so, I'm on board when the lease on my e92 is up in spring of 2013
