It's not that I haven't thought about it. The F10 IMO looks awesome and the interior is certainly a step up from the F30/F34 (it should be, as it is one segment up).

But at this time I wouldn't want to get another sedan as the family car. It will cost more than the f34, while being less practicable, heavier and therefore slower. And it doesn't have this unique character, in fact is now becoming almost as common as the X5 in my neighborhood. If it fits your needs though in the end you really can't go wrong with a 5 series BMW if you can afford it.
