Look at the Interface, and visually CIC and NBT are different:

Name: BMW NAVI.png Views: 26089 Size: 548.1 KB

Or go to Map Version info screen, and if it shows PREMIUM Map, it is CIC, and if it shows NEXT Map, it is NBT.
