I got it working too. Don't forget: under telephone, choose your iphone and press the option button to access the bluetooth settings. You also have to enable messages on the iphone bluetooth bmw connection.
Very bad implementation!
1) Also: do you guys get an audible alert when receiving an sms?
2) Is it possible to see pictures or videos without the cradle?
3) There was a bluetooth setting like "additional phone" (I have the german version). What is this?
4) When I connect the iphone with the cable, it turns off the bluetooth music connection and I have to manually connect my phone over bluetooth again if I don't use the cable. Is there a solution to this?
