While I'm waiting for my car to arrive, I've been making some initial enquiries in to getting the accessory parts required to attach my mobile phone to the car. I have an iPhone 4S and the main things I wanted were the ability to stream audio to the entertainment system and of course make and receive calls through the car (preferably handsfree).
I ended up adding the Music Interface and Bluetooth with Voice Control options to the car, but when I used the Bluetooth Interface compatibility system on the BMW website (
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/nav...ROW&country=au), I noticed that it refers to a component I can't find anywhere else.
When I select the iPhone 4S in that configurator, it asks what equipment I have installed noting first the Navigation package, but after that whether I have "Preparation for Mobile Phone Business with Bluetooth Interface (633)" or "Preparation for Mobile Phone with Bluetooth Interface (644)".
Does anyone know what these two latter parts are? I'm hoping that they are accessories fitted post delivery since they didn't appear anywhere in any of the material I used to order the car, nor do those part numbers appear on my production list on bmwvin.com
