You don't need to unless you run e85. It's optional. I had jb4 and had it off and on and logged and there was no difference (94 octane)
Thanks, there is so much misinformation out there about this stuff it is mind boggling. Everything seems so cryptic and subjective about the jb4 and tuning and logs and codes and just everything for some reason. Really miss my e46 m3 sometimes.
Seems like the only way to make consistent smooth power with pwg and jb4 is to run e85, wish I would have known that before buying it since there are no e85 stations here.
I do know of a place that manufactures 100% ethanol, I wonder if they sell it to people and if so can I use it?
