This is correct information.
E90 used low dust pads in all versions beginning 2010. F30 has low dust pads in all versions except MSport. BMW wanted to offer a quicker biting pad for the MSport. I personally wish they offered an opt out option. I will not be looking forward to wheel scrubbings again. Been happy with my E90 MSport and its clean wheels.
