I'd have bought the 335i if I could afford it, but I'll be happy with the 328i. Around here, you're paying substantially more for the I6 over the 2-litre for comparably-equipped cars (xDrive).
Both are good engines. The MPG difference is negligible, but the power difference is apparent.
As is the sound...
Very nice engine, but I couldn't justify the expense for myself.
