Even if you don't have an alarm on your car, your car has some of the most sophisticated anti-theft deterrents there are. I had a 2006 e90 which did not include an alarm and I still got an alarm discount on my insurance ... I dare someone to try and steal a BMW without a flat bed... I dare someone to try and make a BMW radio usable in another car without proof of ownership...
