Thats not bad - should get better as the engine loosens up. My personel target is always to better the Official combined fuel consumption on my commute - which is about 35km in traffic, and 35km on the motorway.
The main thing infuencing fuel consumption - is momentum - try never to lose it - anticipate what the traffic is doing. It would be interesting to see what your consumption falls to as the engine wears in! I note that as usual the BMW range is quite accurate - it does not look like there is a lot of fat there.
Unlike my R1200RT - which once range is 0 - can still go another 100km's.
