How did you end up getting data transfer to work? Was it available as soon as you VO coded HU_CIC? I've tried pairing a Samsung Galaxy Note, iPhone 5 and a Xperia Arc and all three did not work.

OK, where can I get or generate a working fake VIN? Yes it was not there before, but after adding 6al, 614, 615 and coding hu_CIC and cmb_media it appered but needs to be activated by opening the Option menu on telephone Bluetooth page. On my droid I activated Bluetooth tethering. I am usig cyanogenmod 10.1, but it should work with regular rom, too.
