20 minutes ago I was driving my car home from a friend's. The person ahead of me was doing what people in this part of the state do, lighting a cig while driving 15 under, so I went to pass. As I downshifted the whole car shakes and I get lights and tones for an unspecified "Drivetrain Malfunction". I did the Lockheed fix (off/on) and it cleared before coming back again while accelerating through 20 mph. Any amount of acceleration causes the beast to shake. The tach shows stable revs in idle but the exhaust note pops and is unstable. I've got maintenance coverage for the next 6 years/93k miles but thought I'd run it past you folks, as well.
