Gutted for you mate - a neighbour of mine keyed the entire length of my A3 because we only had on street parking and I parked outside his house - twice.
Fortunately another neighbour witnessed him in the act - police got involved and it went to court - he ended up having to pay the £1500 it cost me to get the entire side if the car resprayed.
Hope you get a similarly satisfying outcome to an otherwise sh@t situation
