Subject to the running-on-flat issues being satisfied, to me does look borderline for a repair. Must be in the mid 159mm section on a 225 section tyre and the object's angle of penetration could push it past the BS standard limit.

Anecdotal evidence seems to be emerging that RFTs puncture more easily than regular tyres. It is suggested it may be to do with the stiffer side walls not deflecting objects as easily.
