I asked the tech and he explained the customer had been complaining about a clicking sound only when the engine was hot and up to temp.

After 30+ hours of trouble shooting it was determined that the crank and main rod bearings were failing and needed to be replaced. Puma case was opened and work began.

I was surprised to see the amount of wear on the shells, car has 13,000kms.

Anyways if anyone has questions or a click sound coming from their engine might want to have it looked at!!

Thanks

Umm.. I have an N20 but this seems to be very similar, if not exact, problem I've been experiencing... At around 5000km, I noticed that the car clicks when the engine is warm (~90 degrees C). I've complained about this issue numerous times to the dealer and ranted on the forums (maybe a little too much lol), but now I've decided to live with it.

I am at 11500km now. We'll see what happens. Wait. What WOULD happen if the crank and the main rod bearings failed on me ON the road?
