iPhone5 works great on my 1M with the lightning cable. I never used the video out before so I can't comment on that but MOG, Sticher, BMW Connect and BMW Remote work without any issues.
Even Siri works fine over BT (You can turn this on/off on the phone itself).
Also, congrats on your 1M. Don't forget to come say hi on the 1M board.
