Your post is quite flawed:
- The price difference in the base is only $7,500 not $10,000
- There is a list of standard features included in the 335i that aren't standard on the 328i: Xenon Headlights with High-Beam assist, Wood Trim, Moonroof, Power Front Seats with Lumbar Support and Anti-theft Alarm System
- Not everyone wants to tune their engine. (I, for one, will keep mine stock because I prefer warranty and engine longevity over a few more cheap horsepower.)
I agree that the bump in horsepower and torque with the N20 engine in the 328i now makes it a less obvious choice than before, but there are still very good reasons for getting the 335i over the 328i.
I already have my pre-order in and ED date confirmed for my 335i and am very comfortable with the choice.
