Sorry to revive this old thread, but it seems relevant.
I have a '15 F32 and I'm having the Spotify issues where the song name, artist, and album art remains with the first song long after I've moved on to other songs. Same with the song name that appears in the LCD screen under the speedometer/tachometer.
I just want to clarify, there are TWO software updates here:
1. ConnectedDrive software (e.g. UPD05062), can be updated by myself via USB flash drive at home
2. iDrive/NBT software (e.g. NBT_I...), usually needs to be updated by dealer unless you're very comfortable with car coding and flashing the system.
Is this correct? If so, how do I check which version of ConnectedDrive I have, in order to know if I should bother installing UPD05062. My car was manufactured in 07/14.
