Reading the manual for my 335dx, it says that if the wing mirror switch is set to the driver's side then when reverse gear is engaged the passenger mirror drops down slightly in order to view kerbs etc more easily.

This does not seem to happen on mine at all, do I need to have selected folding mirrors or some other option when speccing the car? I would have thought they would all be capable of this as it just requires the mirror glass to tilt down slightly which can be done entirely via the standard mirror motors with or without the external housing being able to be folded electrically or not.

Perhaps I am missing something obvious.
