Thats not quite right. Options are discounted a point more than base to get to invoice. Your target should be a set dollar amount (depending on the car, most suggest $500-1500) over ED invoice. ED invoice is 5% of the base under US invoice plus there is a $475 add on. The exact calculation is out on the web. It got me within a few dollars.

$40,750 x .95 x .93= 36,003
plus 8745 x .92= 8045
plus 995
plus $475 just because

= $45518 ED invoice (2017 percentages..I've heard .93 may mow be .94 and .92 may go to .93)

So, look for $46-47k, a bit more if 2018 calculations changed. Even if they did change, a good dealer still gets the old number, they just get it as a bonus and not at time of invoice.
