The 335is of course is faster than the N55 335i.
The 335is has more power because BMW tuned it to have more power and bumped up the boost.
It's obvious.

If you accept that, then why harp on the 335i against the S4?
F30 335i 4.7 to 60. S4 4.4. That's a .3 sec difference.
F30 328i 5.6, F30 335i 4.7. That's nearly 1 second.
You seem to change your definitions of what is fast depending on what point you need to make.
The N55 is the next gen. turbo. It's quite modern.
BMW can give it more power, and maybe they will.
But it's not likely they will go back to the older tech N54.
They'll just tune the N55 for more power.
The PPK will be available this fall.
It should have been part of the Msport, but maybe it will be once the PPK comes out.
