Well it was all very simple. I now have video in motion! That was my initial test for tonight.
I installed all the software on my laptop at work today, then when I got home at 8pm I thought I'd give it a go just following the guides step by step and had no problems at all. I first removed the handbrake/park requirement but still the picture cut out at 3kph so I went back and removed that too as it just was a different setting. Very uneventful really!
Now to really start playing to see what I can do with my new powers
The function/module names on mine were slightly different to the cheat sheets in the DIY section as I've got the new NBT Nav but they were pretty obviously named.
