I even requested to sit in and test drive with him and he still claimed that noise was normal. After so many times back and forth, I gave up and almost believed in what the dealer told me that the noise was normal. Until recently, I brought the car to a dealer near my work place for an oil service, since I was there I thought might as well give it another try and tell them about the wind noise issue I was having. To my surprised, the windnoise was significant reduced when driving home from the dealer. The service paper says the dealer found excessive gap between the molding on the windshield and the driver's window, they had to replace the molding. I hope that help some of you, I guess the story here is dont give up and try more than one dealer.
Where are you located? Maybe we can meet and you can give me a ride. As far as I know, no one from the "noisy" group has been into the car of one from the "quiet" group. I just want to make sure we're not talking about placebo or very different, subjective noise thresholds.
