Same here.. First car I ever ordered was a '99 E46 328i, also as soon as I graduated college (2 months before actually, little graduation gift to myself). I've ordered several cars since, but don't think I anticipated any as much as my F30 335xi... And my list of ordered cars includes an X5 E70 4.8i that had an obscene amount of options and an Audi S5. Somehow though, my two 3's were the ones I really couldn't wait for, but did..
In fact, having a 3 again brings back such good memories, I just ordered a couple of these, just like the one I had with my E46 (and still have, but it's peeling):
