On my '07 E90 I had the standard all-season tires. Never needed snows and had that car out in quite a few storms and back/forth from Syracuse. Never a problem. With the last two cars being RWD 335i's, I stick to keeping her in the garage until the plows have done a good job of plowing and have Blizzaks (non-RFT) on each corner.
