This is my first BMW purchase and it's been both fun and frustrating. Fun with the tracking from the great links and info provided in the AU forum, and frustrating with the wait, so close yet so far …..
The ship carrying my 328i arrived last Thursday (28/6) and I was really excited to see the "Discharged" status. I thought that was the end of the tracking and the dealer did mention that it could take up to 2 weeks to clear customs. I did a bit of searching of other forums and found there is one more entry "Delivered from ", before you know it's on the way to the dealer. The time to clear customs may vary with each port/city and how many cars were dropped off, mine had 45. Someone also mentioned that rain can add time to the delivery and it was raining when the ship docked last week but has been fine since then.
I'll provide updates with my status so everyone can get a rough idea of when their baby is due.
