2016 BMW M4  [9.50]
I'm picking up my (almost) new July 2012 F30 328i Sedan tomorrow and just wanted some clarification from those of you far more knowledgeable than myself.

The car has never been titled and is one of their service loaner cars.

It has BMW Assist (and therefore, I believe, the telematics combox). It also has Connecteddrive listed in the idrive system. It has enhanced Bluetooth (I tested streaming audio over the BT) and the widescreen Nav.

It doesn't have a cradle, but I have used the dealer's "y" cable and got my iphone working but with no album art/ipod-out (just searchable via idrive). I didn't get a chance to test with a regular apple USB cable.

When I tried to use BMW Online, it said it couldn't connect.

With all of that in mind, I have 4 questions.

1) As it has BMW Assist, does the fact that connecteddrive is available in the idrive mean connecteddrive is installed/will work?

2) Could the reason for it not being able to connect just be that I would need to call BMW and get it activated?

3) Can I tether my Verizon LTE iPhone 5 to get internet connectivity?

4) What would I need in order to get BMW Apps?

Thanks in advance!
