At our dealer we've always been treated quite well, however I'm lead to believe the service department is awful if you actually have a problem (I've never had one, but it's only been in for service and minor items). It seems Sales can't do enough for you then service don't give one (The usual).
Saying that though, my Grandfather had been buying cars from them for 20 years then when he wanted standard tires on the X5 instead of run flats they weren't interested and wouldn't even entertain the idea. He ended up buying elsewhere with a massive discount
