I had heard so many good things about the Louwman Museum... and it did not disappoint! This museum is right up there with the worlds finest museums!! It's that good! I would encourage anyone to visit it. It's was bit of a haul for me... (~700kms) ...but I combined it with a trip to Brussels and a WWII Military Museum in Oorlogsmuseum Overloon

It made for a nice weekend!
I must make a confession though... I visited the museum back in late December - its just taken me this long to get around to making up this review thread. I wanted to do the museum justice with my photos. I guess its perfect timing now that ED season is almost about to start!
Anyways... back to the Louwman Museum... what a museum! Its a private museum but it rivals the best of any of the "factory" museums I've been to. Judge for yourself... but I really, really enjoyed this museum. Maybe its because I recognized some of the cars in teh collection from the now defunct/closed, Rosso Bianco Collection in Aschaffenburg/Germany. I had heard quite a few of the cars ended up at the Louwman Musuem.
Btw... Jay Leno calls the Louwman Museum one of the best in the world. I would agree! I really enjoyed this museum because they had so much to offer the automotive junkie. Even for non car loving people (read: wife) there was a lot of cool displays in this museum. All I can say is this museum deserves a place on anyone's bucket list. I know I will be back! Besides the two "Swan cars" I was also shocked to see the oldest original Toyota known to exist. They also had quite a cool video of how the museum got its hands on that car.
Enjoy my (many)photos,
Dackel
