As to window trims, you can choose between matt black (standard) and shadow line. Chrome trim is tied to the Luxury line and not available else, regardless of the model.
As to grill slats, they're tied to the lines as well: Standard models have black slats (yes, even 335i), Sport line has gloss black slats, Luxury line chrome slats and Modern line matte chrome slats.

I actually like the matt black exterior trim and black grill slats, and suspect most others who don't want to order one of the lines will as well. But, what's unfortunate is that if you DO order one of the lines, you cannot opt out of any features that are standard from that line (no substitutions), so for example your Sport F30 (which you had to opt for in order to get the sport seats) will have gloss black slats and that's that - no choice for non-gloss. Of course some of that stuff can be easily changed after you purchase the car, but that's sort of a bummer.

And that's nice. But, unfortunately you can't pair up the black trim with the black accent strip for an an all black look, akin to a current E90 with black interior trim. You also cannot you pair the black trim with a pearl gloss accent strip, either, for a more sublte metallic accent - that would look nice as well.
