I have since reduced it to 32.5 and 35.5 (increases to abut 35.5 and 38.5) and have found it to be much more comfortable. but I'm not sure if its bad to be 2.5 psi under the recommended pressure

i live in texas though so temps can get pretty high
I almost arrived at the same figures on my new 235/40 19 and 275/35/19. Lowered to 32 front (Michelin PSS4), and the car became really moody, and mushy. Very much so. Temps here, 13C - 30C. But my 335i M Perf is also 3960lbs, with Adaptive M tuned for hard 20" Pirellis. At 35F 38R I seem to have OK results. however, have yet to run them a really warm day pass 75F, just got them! But 32 front was quite mushy.
