I also have found that it is very difficult to have my new 328i recoded by BMW service. Mine told me that they will do it only when the car is serviced after at least 12,000 miles which may be one year away
. They claimed that it is the BMW official rule --- obviously a big lie as we have heard so many different conditions (e.g. 5,000 or 10,000 mils etc) on the forum
It looks like I have to do it by myself...
