Thanks very much to everyone who contributed (and will contribute) to this thread.
More and more drivers are choosing to use some form of headlight lighting during the day, no matter the weather. I will, in most probability, use the DRLs after seeing how nice they look (white) on current BMWs.
Not pretentious like some fancy designs, rather an integral part of the headlight system. Still will be viewed by some (perhaps many) as a show off piece, but then again my car is an F30 M-Sport in EB!!! Say no more.
All being well, I might even be driving it by next weekend.
