It will allow you to see how changing the specs of the tires will affect the speedometer etc. It is also an easy way to check sidewall height. My only issue with the wheel sizes the OP used is I love those BC wheels and there is not enough sidewall height to protect them in case of a harsh bump or pothole. I would have recommended a slightly larger ratio tire to give you more protection and to minimize the overall diameter difference between stock and enlarged.
