Black shows dirt? Weird, after thirteen years of owning black BMW interiors, I'd say they hide just about everything. My ex had grey interiors in various Audii and they were always filthy, to the point that I bought black floor mats. I agree that black isn't the most adventurous interior color, but I just don't think of BMW interiors as all that nice, when compared to the Brits or Italians, so I tend to just accept that black will diminish the general cheapness.
