The guy lives in Toronto, not the US.
I live on the border of US/Canada. When i go to Toronto, I see many many 3-series, and the ones I've seen lately on my last trip have been mostly 335is. Either I'm going to the wrong place, or the guy is correct.
I'm counting E90/92/93 335i too, btw.
