Works best if the Climate Control is left in auto mode. Once you start pushing the zone buttons you are restricting the auto function anyway, so no longer really full climate control.
Leave on auto, to selected/chosen cabin temperature, and just tweak the face vent temperature thumbwheel to mood, it is then just a fine tune.
Assuming of course, we are not running high/low temperatures, and/or continuously changing temperatures. I've been passenger in cars with Climate Control and the drivers are always fiddling with the controls and temperature and the cabin is never a stable temperature. I don't get that approach at all, why keep fiddling?
I'm a 19/20C setting man, leave the system to do its work, hardly ever touch the system settings week in week out.
