I investigated GIO's Platinum car insurance, which offers lifetime new car replacement, no matter how old your initial car you insure with them is at time of claim.

Other than paying a premium rate compared to other insurers, anyone see any 'downside' to this cover?
I understand that Allianz has a very good reputation for car insurance.
