For office MAP (Message Access Profile) to work, you need to enable "Show Notifications" on your iPhone under the BMWXXXXX bluetooth profile under bluetooth paired devices. It will only display messages that you receive while in the car - not older or archived messages. You also have to be on iO6 or above and it will only sync SMS messages; not emails.

Will the messages just show up as they come or will it give me some indication on the iDrive that a text has arrived? All these lovely Easter Eggs that BMW left in the car for us!!
