Having Toyota's resources (read: money) is nice, but I would prefer BMW creates its own supercar for purity's sake.
If it's just a regular sports car, then fine. Ever since Toyota began supplying drivetrains to Lotus, for example, Lotus' reliability has been pretty solid.
