I optioned up a base model because my budget was really for the 320i. I decided to make a stretch for the 328i once I saw the relatively smaller price difference vs equivalent e90s.
Rationale was have a bottom of the range sportier vehicle than a really optioned up base vehicle. Performance was higher priority than toy count, so I sacrificed a few things. I still went way outside my 320i budget but I perceive I will be happier with a base 328i than the 320i well loaded
