Those sizes would be okay for an xDrive car as they're inside the normal 1% rule.

OP, I'd recommend the Continental ExtremeContact Sport. They'll have better treadwear than the Michleins and performance is comparable, based on what feedback I've gotten from customers--all for a couple hundred $$$ less.

If she's not the spirited driving type, maybe consider an all season tire. If she can run the stock 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 specs, the ExtremeContact DWS 06 will last a good while and performs very well in all conditions.
